Two drones fall in vicinity of Dubai International Airport, four injured

The attack resulted in minor ⁠injuries to ‌two Ghanaian nationals and one Bangladeshi national, as well as moderate injuries to ‌one Indian national.

Two drones on Wednesday came down in the vicinity of the Dubai International Airport (DXB), injuring four people, Dubai's media office said.

The attacks across the Gulf ‌continued on the ​12th day of the West Asia crisis, which has caused widespread disruption to flight operations across the globe.

In a post on X, Dubai Media Office said, "Authorities confirm that two drones fell in the vicinity of Dubai ​International Airport (DXB) a ⁠short while ago."

The media office mentioned that the air traffic is operating as normal.

It also said that the attack resulted in minor ⁠injuries to ‌two Ghanaian nationals and a Bangladeshi national, as well as moderate injuries to ‌an Indian national.

Amidst the US-Israel war against Iran, aviation is facing flight cancellations, rescheduling and re-routing ‌for airlines across the globe, as ‌most airspaces in the Middle East remain shut due to missile and ‌drone concerns.

The war has also led to an energy crisis resulting in a sharp rise in fuel prices.
