<p>As the US-Israel-led conflict with Iran escalates, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on Tuesday warned that it would begin targeting <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/united-states">US companies</a> in the region from April 1, in retaliation for attacks on Iran.</p><p>In a statement, the IRGC said these firms “should expect the destruction of their respective units in response to each act of terror in Iran,” adding that the action would begin at 8 pm Tehran time on April 1 (10 pm IST).</p><p>The message, carried by Iranian state media, also urged employees to leave their workplaces immediately for their safety. It further advised residents living within a one-kilometre radius of these companies across the region to evacuate and move to safer locations.</p><p><strong>Here's the list of 18 companies:</strong> </p><p>Iranian state media released a list of 18 US companies that the IRGC claimed would be targeted. In just one month, we have set the terms. The coming days will be decisive. Iran knows this, and there is little it can do militarily,” he said.</p><p>Responding to the threat, <em>Reuters</em> reported that a<a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/white-house"> White House</a> official said the US military is prepared to counter any Iranian action, pointing to a 90 per cent drop in ballistic missile and drone attacks as evidence of its defensive readiness.</p>
