'Things you wouldn't believe...': Donald Trump says will release classified UFO files very soon

"I think we're going to be releasing as much as we can in the near future," Trump told reporters.

US President Donald Trump, on Wednesday, reiterated that his government will release files on Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) very soon. While speaking to reporters at the Oval Office, Trump said that he has spoken to "some pilots" who saw "things that you wouldn't believe."

"I think we're going to be releasing as much as we can in the near future... I've interviewed people my first term primarily, but I interviewed some pilots, very solid people, and they said they saw things that you wouldn't believe. So you're going to be reading about it," Trump said when asked about an update on the statements he made in February.

The US President was hosting the four Artemis II astronauts who returned after a 10-day trip around the Moon on April 11.

Earlier in February, Trump said that he has directed administration officials to begin releasing the files related to UFOs just days after his predecessor Barack Obama stated that he thinks aliens are real.

Obama, during an interview with YouTuber Brian Tyler Cohen, said - "They're real, but I haven't seen them and they're not being kept in Area 51."

His remarks drew ire from Trump who slammed Obama saying He "gave classified information, he's not supposed to be doing that."

Just hours after his criticism, Trump announced the release of the files saying he would get Obama "out of trouble by declassifying" the documents.
