Yakshagana vow for Modi to become PM again

Team Modi, which was formed to take the welfare initiatives introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Central government to the people of Dakshina Kannada district, will organise a Yakshagana performance titled Sri Devi Mahatme.

The show will be performed by Kateel Sri Durgaparameshwari Prasaditha Yakshagana Mandali on December 29 at Mannagudda, in Mangaluru. This is organised as a “Harake Aata” or Yakshagana show organised to fulfil a religious vow.

Team Modi member Naresh Shenoy is organising the Yakshagana show to fulfil a religious vow and pray that Narendra Modi becomes Prime Minister again.

“Normally it is difficult to book a Yakshagana prasanga by the Kateel Mela. A devotee who had booked the ‘Harake Aata’, cancelled it owing to personal reasons. So the slot was given to me,” said Shenoy.

“Praying that Modi becomes Prime Minister again, we will organise the Yakshagana. Chowki pooja and ‘Annasantharpana’ will also be held,” he added.

“Many people are proud of Prime Minister Modi. BJP party workers support him politically. There are many outside the party who are his followers. Team Modi brings together all such Modi followers. The Team will continue to function under the leadership of Chakravarthi Soolibele. Those who support Modi can join the team,” he added.
