He wrote for a spices website and managed a book shop for some months, did freelancing for a Malayalam weekly for a year before taking a train from Kochi to Delhi to join PTI in 2004. Shifted to Deccan Herald nine years later. Covering politics, security, Parliament, Delhi, RTI, trade unions and some more stuff under the sun. When not writing news stories, he loves to read trash and classics and dreams about a book unlikely to be written and a film unlikely to be shot. Personal regret: can’t sing or even hum.
