Eight extremists killed in face-off with police in Telangana

In a major encounter, eight Maoists of the notorious Chandra Pullareddy Dalam of the outlawed CPI (Maoists) were killed in an encounter with the Grey Hounds and the Telangana Police.
 
The encounter took place in the forest of Kamararm and Bodu in Tekulapalli block of Bhadradri-Kothagudem district. The encounter started on Wednesday night and continued till the early hours of Thursday.

Four of the eight deceased  Maoists have been identified as  Bukhya Narsimha, Sammayya, Naresh and Madhu.
 
On September 21, two Naxals of the New Democracy group were killed in an encounter in the same block.
