Marking the fifth death anniversary of Shiv Sena supremo Balasaheb Thackeray, the proposed site at the Mumbai Mayor's bungalow at Shivaji Park-Dadar was dedicated, on Friday.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis dedicated the site in presence of Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray, in Mumbai, amid the presence of senior leaders of the two saffron parties.
"We pay our respect to our guiding force," Fadnavis said. Uddhav, on his part handed over a cheque of Rs 2 crore to the chief minister's farmers relief fund for the welfare of the farmers in the state.
