A woman was critically injured after she allegedly attempted suicide by jumping off a flyover near Akshardham Temple on Thursday evening.
Pushpa Yadav, 22, of Gurgaon is undergoing treatment at Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital. According to police, a call was made to the police control room around 2 pm. “She was rushed to a nearby hospital, where her condition is stated to be critical,” a police official said.
She attends coaching for civil services and was apparently under depression due to studies pressure. Police are yet to record her statement.
