CEAT has launched a new range of Zoom XL tyres, which are made exclusively for electric motorcycles. The first variant of the tyre was rolled out on Tork Motorcycles’ first electric motorcycle T6X in Bengaluru.
Following extensive on-road testing on the electric two-wheeler, the tyres have been fine-tuned to suit the requirements of the motorcycle. With low rolling resistance, the tyres stand to reduce the electricity consumption from the battery while riding, a release said.
Nitish Bajaj, Vice President — Marketing, CEAT, said, “The electric two-wheeler industry is set to witness a boom in the next few years in India, as we gear up towards smarter solutions in the automotive space.”
