The Karnataka government will hold two flagship events, BengaluruITE.biz and Bengaluru INDIA BIO 2017, together from November 16 to 18 in Bengaluru with its focal theme ‘Ideate, Innovate and Invent’.

Speaking at the curtain raiser function organised to give broad contours of the event, Minister of State for IT, BT and Tourism Priyank Kharge said the government of Karnataka decided to merge these two events realising the convergence of technologies.

“There is a lot of synergy among IT and BT sectors. If we join these two flagship events together it will bring synergy among technocrats, academia and policy makers. Also, we have to garner skill sets for emerging areas like machine learning, artificial intelligence, neuro science, data analytics, IoT and cloud technologies” he said.

BengaluruITE.biz 2017 and Bengaluru INDIA BIO 2017 are holding their 20th and 17th editions respectively. The event will be held at the Bengaluru Palace and organisers are expecting participation of 2000 delegates.
