Bengaluru has become the third Indian city to host Uber’s food delivery service UberEATS, which can be availed on playstore.

Having partnered with over 300 restaurants, including the likes of Adigas, Madurai Idly and Truffles, UberEATS started operations in Bengaluru on Friday.

To scale up the business, the company has appointed Vartika Bansal as General Manager for UberEATS in Bengaluru. “We are thrilled to launch the service in Koramangala, HSR and BTM Layout and will soon expand to more areas across Bengaluru,” shes said.

The UberEATS app is separate to the Uber app that people use to request a ride and has been built specifically to make food delivery as seamless as possible, a company release said.

It is available on both iOS and Android.
