Sudarshan Venu, son of company chairman and managing director Venu Srinivasan, has joined TVS Motor Company’s board of directors as an additional director, according to a TVS release on Friday. The appointment is with immediate effect and Venu will function in the rank of whole-time director effective February 1.
Venu had joined TVS Motor Company as vice-president effective December 1, 2011. He was earlier inducted into the board of Sundaram Clayton, the holding company of TVS Motor Company, as an additional director in September 2011.
