Congress Ludhiana MP Ravneet Singh Bittu has shocked some as he was all set to get a renomination. But for many, it wasn’t any surprise as the grandson of former Punjab Chief Minister Beant Singh used to be a permanent fixture outside Home Minister Amit Shah’s office in Parliament during sessions. He would also walk with the top minister when he came out. Signals were clear about the third-generation Congress leader that he was switching sides.
