Rumour mills are doing the rounds that Bollywood bombshell Deepika Padukone is gearing up to play diva Rekha's character in the remake of Rakesh Roshan's 'Khoon Bhari Maang'.
Starring Rekha, Kabir Bedi, Sonu Walia, Kader Khan, Shatrughan Sinha and Rakesh Roshan in prominent roles, the film had left cash registers ringing at the box-office in 1988.
A remake of Australian televsion drama 'Return to Eden', 'Khoon Bhaari Maang' revolves around a wealthy widow, who is betrayed by her lover.
With gorgeous Deepika stepping into Rekha's shoes, it's going to be a much-awaited venture for the movie buffs!
