A special CBI court here on Friday directed senior BJP leaders L K Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi and Uma Bharti and three others to appear before it on May 30 for framing of conspiracy charges in the Babri Masjid demolition case.
Special judge S K Yadav, while deferring the framing of charges, which was to be done on Friday, said no more adjournments would be allowed in the case, and that the accused would have to appear in person on that date. The court deferred the matter after the counsel moved an application seeking exemption from personal appearance.
