Cheating cases were more than double in the Class XII board examinations held by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) this year over that of the last year.

The board recorded 119 cases in which students were caught cheating during the exams this year, while last year it had recorded a total of 56 cases.

This year, the highest number of cases (54) were reported from Ajmer region, which includes Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
