The Supreme Court on Monday asked the Bombay High Court to dispose of within three months petitions challenging the validity of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act (RERA).

A bench presided over by Justice Arun Mishra directed all other high courts to await judgement by the Bombay High Court.

The court refused to allow a plea by the Centre for transferring about 21 petitions challenging the validity of the new law, pending before various high courts to the Delhi High Court.
