DMK, Congress take jibe over alleged special treatment to jailed Sasikala

Taking a jibe at AIADMK "Amma" general secretary V K Sasikala over alleged reports of bribing prison authorities for "VIP treatment" in jail, the Opposition parties in Tamil Nadu especially DMK said that prison "mysteries" were still continuing during the present AIADMK rule.
 
"Prision mysteries are still continuing in this rule. At present, this is the most discussed topic here", DMK working president M K Stalin said and pointed out that there was also reports that sand mining baron Sekhar Reddy, who came out in bail, got death threats.
 
"This is the situation in this AIADMK rule", he added.
 
Tamil Nadu Congress president Su Thirunavukkarasar said chief minister and home minister of Karnataka should enquire into the issue of bribing jail officials for "special treatment" given to Sasikala and take action against those involved in the offence.
 
"The wrongly given special treatment should be withdrawn immediately. Severe action should also be initiated against the persons involved in the issue", he added.
