The Coast Guards rescued 14 persons on board a fishing boat that capsized in the Arabian Sea after hitting a rock, near the lighthouse here on Saturday morning.
The mishap occurred as the drover of the boat lost control of it. Coast Guards inspector Aravind Kalaguji led the rescue operations.
Those onboard included three fishermen and 11 tourists. The engine of the boat is damaged.
