Three persons, including a child, were killed when an engine of a train hit them while crossing the railway track at Manjeshwara in Kasargod on Wednesday.
According to the police, the victims are Ameena (50), her sister Ayesha (40) and Ayesha's son (3 years old). They did not notice the engine coming on a track while crossing the second track. They crossed the first track after a train left for Mangaluru.
A case has been registered.
