Lokayukta personnel trapped Krishna Bhagya Jala Nigama Limited quality control Assistant Engineer (AE) Mujeeb while he was allegedly accepting Rs 30,000 as bribe at Bheemarayanagudi administrative office here on Thursday.
It is learnt that Mujeeb had allegedly sought Rs 30,000 from Basavalingappa Gogi to issue a quality certificate to a work worth Rs nine lakh that the former had taken up. Mujeeb was caught allegedly accepting the bribe at his office.
