City BJP leaders on Thursday submitted a memorandum to the State Election Commissioner P N Srinivasachari urging him to announce the calender of events for the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) immediately.
The memorandum submitted to the commissioner by BJP City President Subba Narasimha and others states that high court has directed that the polls be held by May 30.
“As per the court’s direction we request you to announce the calender of events immediately,” the memorandum states.
