Four miscreants reportedly tried to attack a Hindu Jagarana Vedike co-convener in Surathkal on Tuesday night.
In a complaint to the police, Bharath of the Vedike said the incident occurred when he was returning home on a two-wheeler. "The miscreants came out of a bush, waylaid me and tried to attack me. But I escaped from them and saved my life," he has said in the complaint. He has not sustained any injuries.
