State government seeks time till Wednesday from the High Court to file their contentions with regard to writ appeal filed by the state government seeking quashing of single bench order.
The single bench had directed the government to hold BBMP election before May 30.
The single bench had also directed the state government to issue notification on April 13.
The state government said that they wanted more time to translate certain documents to English which were in Kannada.
