‘Matter of pride’
Speaking to Deccan Herald, Rita James, principal and founder, Asha Kiran Special Needs School, said: “It is a matter of pride that our school has made it to the list. We are in a way a mini mainstream school in the sense that we teach children from kindergarten to class 12. The only difference is in the method we teach, which is more personal and based on multiple intelligence,”  she said.

While a number of prominent schools such as Mallya Aditi International School, Yelahanka, Indus International School, Sarjapur, also figure other categories of the list, various other prominent schools in the City were not featured in the list.
