Sandbox Collective will present the play ‘No Rest in the Kingdom’ with shows in February and March. Cats crawl, urban men and women seem baffled with ‘this gender thing’ and a general unsettlement around what we are implicit in presents itself.
Everything else is chill scenes. ‘No Rest in the Kingdom’ is a devised theatre work that deals with the daily hilariousness and annoyances around being a woman in this country, and almost anywhere. It has been written, directed and performed by Deepika Arwind. It is being supported by Shoonya-Centre for Art and Somatic Practices.
There will be one show on February 24, 7 pm, at Lshva, Koramangala and one on February 26, 7 pm, at The Atelier, Sarjapur. In March, there will be two shows again. One is on March 4, 7.30 pm, at Atta Galatta, Koramangala and the other is on March 5, 7 pm, at Grasshopper, Bannerghatta Road. Tickets are available on www.bookmyshow.com
