SaMaPa, the prestigious music academy of the well-known musician Pandit Bhajan Sopori will be presenting the 8th Annual festival – ‘SaMaPa Sangeet Sammelan 2012’.

Considered among the top most music festivals in Delhi SaMaPa is an event which takes into account the diversity of Indian music, arts, cultural heritage and includes artistes of all hues from across the country.

SaMaPa has made efforts to preserve the rich cultural heritage and has come up as a movement with the aim to bring ‘music to the masses.’ 

SaMaPa over the years has sought to bring about a new awareness amongst the newer generation of artistes as well connoisseurs for which it has been honoured with various awards.

This year, the festival plans to more than 50 performers  - including both the younger artistes as well legendary maestros of the country.

The event will be held on Nov 24-25 at Kamani Auditorium, Mandi House.
