Air Traffic Controllers (ATCs) manning flight operations at Devanahalli, HAL, Jakkur, Yelahanka and Hubballi on Tuesday said they will not interfere with the state government’s cloud seeding project.
The Rs 35-crore project was facing air clearance issues ever since it was formally launched on August 21 by the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (RDPR) department.
A meeting was held between the ATCs and Additional Chief Secretary-cum-Development Commissioner T M Vijay Bhaskar to iron out differences.
“The ATCs have assured that there will not be any problems from their end for cloud seeding,” RDPR chief engineer (rural water supply) Prakash Kumar said.
