BMRCL increases frequency of trains today, August 15

Anticipating a huge crowd on Sunday and August 15 (Tuesday) for the Independence Day flower show at Lalbagh, Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation (BMRCL) has increased the frequency of Metro trains both in Purple and Green line on these two days.

Peak hour considered
Starting 8 am on Sunday, the trains on the Purple line will run once in 20 minutes while the trains on Green line will start operating every 8 minutes starting 9 am.

During peak hour, Metro trains will operate with a six-minute frequency, between 3 pm and 8 pm, on the north-south corridor.

Trains will operate at a frequency of seven minutes between 4 pm and 8 pm on the east-west route.
However, the frequency of trains on August 14 (Monday) will be usual.
