PET CT is an effective imaging tool which uses radio isotopes for accurately evaluating all kinds of cancers, its early detection and staging, treatment and planning of radiation. It enables cancer patients to follow up, which can be done by detecting new lesions or recurrence of the disease.

Kalam said, “The world will not come to an end in 2012, do not worry about it.  However there will be some changes in the Sun which will bring about some changes in radiation in 2012.” 

Work hard

The present generation must work hard to create a better India in the year 2020, he added.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa lauded Balagangadharanath Swamiji's contribution towards education in the society.

Transport Minister R Ashok, former MP Ambarish and Dr N K Venkataramana, Vice-Chairman, BGS Global Hospitals and others were present on the occasion.
