On the occasion of its annual day and the New Year, World Brotherhood Organisation organised a host of events ranging from belly dance, salsa, bhangra and fancy dress show besides other interesting competitions for women and children.

Held at Marwah lotto farm in Chattarpur, belly dance by Russian dancers, a concert by Sa Re Ga Ma Pa fame singer Arun, bhangra dance by Mallik musical group and salsa dance by Sweet Couple enthralled the audiences.

To add to the celebrations were a host of cultural and entertainment events such as tambola, children dance, fancy dance, painting competition for children, musical chair race for ladies, potato race for ladies, tug of war – Indians vs foreigners and other programmes.

Personalities like High Commissioners of Republic of Seychelles, Waven William and members of diplomatic missions along with their families attended the event.

S S Marwah, secretary general, WBO, that promotes peace said “We are celebrating our annual brotherhood day, New Year and Christmas each year to promote religious harmony, world peace and social, economic and culture development.

” Besides providing entertainment, the event aimed at encouraging the young ones to exhibit their hidden talent.
