Attending ‘Janaspandana – Citizens for Change’ was like appearing for an examination for Padmanabhanagar MLA R Ashoka, as he had to prepare for almost a week before the event to get an update of the works, the problems and the solutions.

Addressing people, Ashoka said even after getting updates, he held meetings for two hours with officials and corporators to make sure that the complaints are minimised. “This event has helped us understand people’s problems better. Based on your complaints, we assure you that parks and playgrounds will be developed,” said Ashoka.

The MLA told the audience about the various developments that have taken place in his constituency, such as the Travel and Transit Management Centre at Banashankari and an innovative bus stand at ISRO Layout. He said the crematorium behind the TTMC has been beautified and three RO treated water plants are set up in each ward of his constituency.
