As the city was reeling under heavy rainfall over the past few days, the lake in Jakkur was filled to the brim and has been overflowing.
The lake which has been dry for several years, has the capacity to hold about 1,600 MLD of water. N K Sapna, assistant engineer, lakes, BBMP said that if it continues to rain like this, lakes in Harohalli and Dasarahalli will also be full soon.
