KSRTC will operate 650 additional buses across the state on January 13 and 14 to meet the demand of commuters travelling during Makara Sankranti.
On January 15, special buses will be operated from places within and outside state to Bengaluru. The buses to Dharmasthala, Kukke Subramanya, Shivamogga, Hassan, Mangaluru, Kundapura, Sringeri, Horanadu, Davangere, Hubballi, Dharwad, Belagavi, Vijayapura, Gokarna and other destinations will leave from Kempegowda (Majestic) bus terminal.
Buses to Mysuru, Hunsur, Periyapatna, Virajpet, Kushalnagar will operate from satellite bus stand on Mysuru Road. The buses to Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh will operate from Shanthingar bus station. Additional buses will also ply from Vijayanagar, JP Nagar, Jayanagar 4th and 9th Block, Jalahalli Cross, Navarang (Rajajinagar), Malleswaram 18th Cross and Kengeri Satellite Town.
