A man bludgeoned his wife to death with a hammer in his Ittamadu house on Monday. The deceased has been identified as Ramani (32). She was married to Vadivelu, a welder. The couple hailed from Tamil Nadu and had no issues.
According to police, the couple used to quarrel often and on Monday night a tiff broke out between the two. In a fit of rage, Vadivelu hammered his wife to death. CK Achchukattu police have arrested Vadivelu. A case has been registered.
