One person was killed, while another injured when a truck hit them on Bannerghatta Road on Sunday night.
The deceased is Shivanna (37), while Nagaraj is battling for life at hospital, the police said.
Shivanna and Nagaraj, both labourers, were travelling in a truck, which developed a technical snag near T John College. They got down and started pushing it, said the police.
The driver of the speeding truck lost balance as he approached the college and hit them from behind, killing Shivanna on the spot. The Hulimavu police are investigating.
