The Central Crime Branch (CCB) sleuths arrested three associates of notorious rowdy Umesh Shetty on Tuesday and recovered a revolver and other weapons from them.
The arrested are Santosh, a native of Belthangadi in Dakshina Kannada, Narayana Bahadur Singh and Nabeen Rukaya from Nepal. Based on a tip-off, the police arrested the trio at a playground near HMT Layout in Yeshwantpur police station limits, while they were planning to burgle a house.
Santosh is wanted in many cases in Mumbai, while, Singh is involved in 20 house burglaries.
