Two youths on a motorcycle were killed after they rear-ended a towing vehicle on Kempegowda International Airport road on Monday night.
Mehaboob Ali (26) of Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh and Abhilash (24) of Madikeri were residents of Devanahalli. They worked at a handicrafts outlet at the airport. The accident occurred around 11 pm, when the duo was returning home. Ali failed to notice the airport’s towing vehicle and bumped into it. The two fell off the bike and suffered head injuries. They were not wearing helmet.
The duo was shifted to a private hospital in Yelahanka and was declared brought dead, the police said.
