Members of the Cubbon Park Walkers’ Association (CPMA) on Saturday protested against the State government's proposal to introduce entry fee at Cubbon Park.

President of CPMA Umesh said, “We understand that the entry fee would be Rs 15 for all visitors. Why should the public pay when there are no facilities, no security guards, proper drinking water or toilets?”

Law Minister T B Jayachandra, who was present during the protest, said that he would speak to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on withdrawing the proposal.
