Demanding implementation of minimum wages, the 'bisi-oota' workers staged a massive 'Vidhana Soudha chalo' protest in the city on Thursday morning.

Under the leadership of the Karnataka Rajya Akshara Dasoha Association, over 1,000 bisi-oota workers began their procession at the Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna Railway Station and marched to Vidhana Soudha via Anand Rao circle flyover.

They cried out slogans against the state and central governments which have failed to fix a minimum wage for bisi-oota workers.
