CM Shettar to open ednl institutions 'morrow

Chief minister Jagadish Shettar would inaugurate the new buildings constructed for educational purposes by JSS institutions in Chamarajanagar on Wednesday.

JSS educational institutions has been striving for providing quality education for the girl students in the rural and border areas and has started nursing and other colleges, which would be inaugurated on January 9, said institution joint secretary S P Manjunath.

Addressing a news conference in Chamarajanagar he said, there are 63 schools and college belonging to the JSS institutions in the district.

Out of this 10 colleges are for girls. Women’s hostel, hostel for working women, nursing college buildings have been constructed.

The building would be inaugurated in the presence of chief minister at 12.30 pm. Suttur seer Shivaratri Deshikendra Swamiji will grace the occasion. District in charge minister V Somanna will preside, he said.

Higher education minister C T Ravi will inaugurate the students hostel and medical education minister S A Ramadas will open the Nursing school building.

Minister Kalakappe G Bandi, MLA C Puttarangashetty, MP R Dhruvanarayan and other leaders will participate in the programme.
