Speaking after inaugurating the newly-constructed toilets at Medara block in Chamarajanagar, on Monday, he said there has been a ban on carrying night soil in the entire country.
The government has made it mandatory construction of individual toilets. The slum dwellers had to make use of the facilities given by the Karnataka Slum Clearance Board.
They must give importance to cleanliness.
