BJP state president B S Yeddurappa on Friday said he was confident from the beginning that justice would be rendered to him.

Yeddyurappa was reacting to the Karnataka High Court granting an interim stay on FIRs filed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau against him on charges of illegal denotification of land in Shivaram Karanth Layout. “False cases were filed against me for political reasons. It was a conspiracy hatched by (advisor to the Home minister) Kempaiah and other officers to defame me. The truth is now out,” he stated.

Addressing a press conference in Bengaluru, BJP state spokesperson G Madhusudhan said the high court verdict was a slap on the face of the state government and sought the resignation of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
