The temple is making all preparations to celebrate the festivities for the deities Sri Annappa Swamy, Ishtadevate and Brahmadeva, which will be held as per tradition, said Dharmastala Dharmadhikari D Veerendra Heggade.
Addressing reporters here on Sunday, Heggade said that the temple structure has been given facelift by carving idols of gods and goddesses on the pillars and walls.
The renovation work has been completed within 18 months. The work covering sanctum sanctorum roof with gold is in the final stage, he added.
Eminent scholar Dr Santhosh Guruji of Ayur Ashrama, Bangalore, will deliver preachings between 7 pm and 8.30 pm on all festival days. Sculptors will be felicitated in the presence of Sri Vidyaprasanna Theertha Swamy of Subramanya Mutt and Vellur Narayani Peet Seer Shakti Amma on March 17. While stone carvings were created by eminent sculptor of Tamilnadu Stapadi Dakshinamoorthi, wooden carvings were done by Narayana Achari and his son Harish Achari of Kallamundkur in Moodbidri.
