Handbills with a picture of Revenue Minister Kagodu Thimmappa were found in the toilets of Vidhana Soudha on Wednesday. This was how unidentified miscreants showed their dismay over the minister’s remarks that Brahmins also consumed meat.
This came to light after the Cabinet meeting when visitors to the toilets were taken aback seeing handbills of Thimmappa strewn around, including in the urinals. “This is for abusing Brahmins,” the handbills stated. Thimmappa had recently said: “I have eaten pork and beef. Brahmins, too, eat meat. But the BJP is doing politics on the issue of cow slaughter.”
