The State government and CID were rapped by the High Court division bench comprising Chief Justice J S Khehar and Justice A S Bopanna after the bench learnt that there has been no progress in the matter pertaining to selection of KAS officers.
The Court was hearing a PIL by K R Khaleel Ahmed and V Raghu, seeking CID probe into the irregularities in selections. Charan Reddy, Deputy Inspector-General (DIG), CID, who appeared before the division bench submitted that the CID will submit the report by March 31.
