BJP state vice president B Somashekar on Saturday, said that he is the party candidate from the Malavalli Assembly segment in the upcoming elections in 2018.
Addressing party workers of Kirugavalu hobli at Doddegowdana Koppalu in the taluk, Somashekar said that a few people, who are claiming to be aspirants of BJP ticket from the constituency, are creating confusion among the party workers.
"I will show my strength during the Parivarthana Rally, led by BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa, which will reach Malavalli town on January 20," said Somashekar.
Speaking about JD(S), Somashekar said, it is not possible for the JD(S) state president H D Kumaraswamy to become chief minister only with the support of Vokkaliga community voters.
BJP district vice president Puttasiddegowda, taluk president H M Shivaswamy, and leaders Basavegowda, Appajigowda, Ravi, and Girish were present.
