A shocking incident of a minor girl being gang-raped by four men in Karnataka's Hubballi city came to light on Thursday, police said.
The main accused lured the 17-year-old victim by getting her a mobile phone and called her to Nehru Stadium in the city.
He became a friend of the victim through one of her friends. Later, along with another friend, the main accused took her to a hotel on Gokul Road and gave her food. Then they took the girl to Gadag Road and threatened and raped her, said an officer.
The accused called two more friends to the spot and they also raped her. The accused are aged between 22 to 26 years. All four accused were arrested by the Gokul Road Police on Thursday after the victim lodged a police complaint and a case was registered under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
The accused are now in judicial custody.
