Kannada Development Authority (KDA) Chairperson Mukhyamantri Chandru on Monday, demanded national policies on education, employment and river water utilisation.
Chandru said these issues have been haunting the State for a long time. He said a national employment policy is needed to help give local people preference while being recruited for jobs. The KDA will also urge for a national policy on river water utilisation and inter-state river water disputes.
