“We have information that the lobby joined hands with the Opposition parties’ effort to topple the government. The government will deal firmly with the lobby,” he told reporters. The Home Minister, however, refused to name the lobby. Asked whether the lobby was against the Government for banning iron ore export, he replied in the affirmative.

He criticised the Opposition for creating ruckus in the Assembly during the first trust vote. “They (Opposition party MLAs) have kicked Vidhana Soudha doors built by late Kengal Hanumanthaiah with their legs. It is a shameful act that needs to be condemned,” he stated.
